Default hug your pup

Hey folks, i lost my best boy of almost 11 years yesterday. Help me celebrate his life by hugging your dogs and taking them for a ride in your rig. Remember to post some pics on here and maybe share a great pet+truck story. Thanks

very sad to hear that... I had to put my Doberman down years back and it was one of the worst days in my life. but with your request... Louie gets it every day. yesterday we celebrated an early christmas since one of my kids is going to WA for the holiday. bought Louie a gift, got him a life jacket since he cant swim (sinks like a rock), he was the 1st to open his gift, he knew right away it was for him since he was there when I bought it. as soon as we had it un-wrapped, he took off running with it and wouldnt give it up. so damn cute. tried to take some pics but it didnt work out to well with the point & shoot camera. That dog gets so much love its rediculous... worth every moment of it...

We adopted Louie from the SPCA at about a year old, to date, he's logged about 50 miles hiking with me and seems to love every minute of it.

again, sorry for your loss...

and one more pic... his 1st long hike of 9 miles... he was so worn out I had to lift him into the truck (2000 ram QC)... he was so funny, he passed out with his front legs & chest over the center console and his rear legs on the back seat. my wife and I never laughed so hard...

thanks Steve,
That made me smile. Isn't it funny how a dog always knows just what to do when you need it.

Acouple years back i had 'Nick' in the bed of my truck(he loved to ride) and we pulled up to a stop light...a lady pulls up beside me and this little chihuahua or something was yapping non-stop. Well Nick went to that side of the bed and let out one big bark and that chihuahua jumped clear across the back seat of that car without touching, andthe lady looked up at me like Cujo was trying to get her.I forgot to mention that Nick was a rottweiler and when he was younger, he was a muscular125. He really just barked at that dog in a playful way, but i'll never forget that.

here you go he's a pure bred chocolate cocker. . .when ever he goes on rides in my truck he sits on the center compartment so he can see out. . .it can be a pain sometimes to shift since I have a 6spd, but he likes it there

I'll even include a pic of us with santa[8D]

WOW Mike I'm REALLY sorry for your loss. If you get the chance, check out the new Rocky movie. It just came out yesterday. He adopts a dog and ... well .... it's a cool story. Check it out.

I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

Dogs have a way of telling you when they are ready to go to the "Rainbow Bridge"....

...it is where all pets go in the after life. Perfect weather, lots of other animals to play with, tons of food and fun, etc. They are happily waiting there for their master to be reunited with themto go on together.

Ain't it great dogs and trucks. That always goes together.
