If you get the chance, check out the latest and last installment of the Rocky series. It's called Rocky Balboa and it debuted last night. I loved it !! It's not so much of a boxing story as much as it's a cool story. Just about ALL of it was filmed right here in Philly, so if you wanna see where I live, check it out. I live in the "Mayfair" section ... get it ??

the others were just **** poor in my opinion.

 

Mayfair, have you seen "Invincable"? Its another awesome Philly movie.

 

No, I haven't seen it yet. Believe it or not that movie was in and out of the theatres in a blink of an eye. I never had the chance. I WILL be seeing it once it comes out on DVD though. I actually remember the scab era of the Eagles. Wild times here in Philly for sure.

 

I kinda wanna see it,, probably wait till it comes out on dvd though.

Actually the only one that I could have done without was Rocky 5, but the rest of them were pretty good. I MAY be a bit partial to them though because HE is from Philly, the movies are FILMED in Philly, and I box.

BTW: He drives a Ram Van in this Rocky .... NOW are you interrested ??

I had used a law firm in Bala Cynwd? By the wayfair, Mayfair......how is the city's name properly pronounced?

I was down there 2 times at Bala Plaza. Was able to watch 2 news helicopters take off and land a bunch of times.

 

Yeah, Bala Cynwood is also part of City Line avenue which is where all of the news sations are located. They're all within a block of each other.

As far as how is the city pronounced, not quite sure what you're looking for there. We all prety much just call it "Philly".
