You know the whole idea of getting presents kind of deminishes when you know you are paying for your own gift
.
I buy myself so much crap throughout the year, I always take this time to spoil the kids and the wife rotten. My 2 year old son really lit up this year when he opened his Mickey Mouse club house and all the little figures that go with it. It is basically a play set that animates and makes the figures take when you place them on electronic posts. The funny thing was one of the characters (Daisy Duck) barks like Pluto! LOL.

Did you say " lit up " ??
The boy " lit up " BIG TIME when he opened up his new electric chopper. He was just like that kid in the TV commercials jumping up and down. Here are some shots. It goes 15 mph and is rated to handle up to 250 lbs. It's pretty cool !!

Man,, that brings back memories. I'd like to know how many 500rd boxes of .22 bullets we went through (I had remington auto with a scope). We used to go to this little bayou ( I grew up in Louisiana ), stand on the bridge and shoot at beer bottles that we would throw in the water. We'd let em get as far as we could see before destroying them, lol. After a while I had gotten good enough that I would throw in the bottle caps and hit them. Then there was the snake hunting,,, the camping out in the sand pits,, the four wheelers, man those were the days. Hopefully my daughter will be into the same things, I just hope she has a little more sense than me though
