I have a 94 2500 with over 200K on the tranny.I do some light towing, boat trailer, and lots of highway driving. If I were to plow snow as a job I would considera trannyoverhaul before the season starts to assure myself of getting through the winter. I have not had any problems with mine other then the TPS issue which is common in the early AT's. Not sure about the current ones.

tranny overhaul, stiffer springs up front to support the weight of the plow, tapping the KDP, and a little TLC on the engine and you would have a nice rig.
