I dont like it but im gonna tell. My haulin buddy has a 95 CTD 5 Speed. we change his oil once a year about 50,000 miles per change (no joke) it looks like gear oil when it drains. He wont change his air and fuel til it wont start. The air filter is as dirty as my shop vac! The truck odometer quit at 325,000 , two years ago Its gotta be close to 500k now and the only repair hes done is the clutch and minor normal stuff. The truck looks like $%#@ but it runs and rolls as good as new. If I tried to do that , my truck would lock down. Im a nervous reck if my oil goes over a few miles (FANATIC) Sometimes I feel like im wasting money I know hes gettin away with murder but dang look at the $$$ he saved. just shows how rugged Cummins builds these engines. his must be a wednesday engine though

Mine was a Monday morning, after a long weekend, paid beer party by the boss, built truck.

 

 

usualy monday and friday engines have issues, tuesday and thursday engines are good to go, but wednesday engines will run long after the frame has rotted away.

 

I thought I was the only one who thought that, lol.
