My 06 CTD was fine - great actually, till yesterday morning. Went out to start it to run some errands, and all I got was a flashing of the entire cluster on and off at about a 1 second interval. They towed it out of my garage to the dealer, so I'm waiting to hear from them, but in the mean time, anyone have an idea as to what this might be?

ECM probably committed suicide.

 

It must have had a hard life. They just dont revert to counseling. They just go all the way and go on to a better place. The ECM heaven.

I am sorry to hear that man. I hope they get that taken care of. Let me know if they give you an warranty grief because you added the u-connect. (if they even notice) I am interested to hear what they found out.
