Early 1998 12 Valve, especially if the transmission and Torque Converter have been upgradded.

You get the advantage of the last of the "Mechnical" systems, less computer control, EXCELLENT fuel injection pump and ease of modification. The Quad Cab models have 4 doors that make it much easier to put people or gear into the back seat, with the 94-97 Quad cabs, you must slide the front seat forward to access the rear seats.

Check to see that it does not have the series 53 block.(cracks). Good Luck With Your "HUNT".

1997 12 V

If I could get a NEW one I would have in a heart beat. I liked my 1997 5 speed (with a #10 TST torque plate and clutch) MUCH better than my 2006 6 speed.

Better low end better MPG better looks IMHO and better handling. If it had disk rear brakes it would be perfect.

Nope, no bias at all. While I love all my fellow DF'ers like brothers, I will say that plugging in some chip for power enhancements is not my style. The 12 valvers are the kings.

I understand that you guys with the newer Rams don't have much choice. It's ok though, I still like you guys.....LOL.
