I'm Baaackk...
sounds like you had a good experience with the b20. i've avoided that gas station becuase i've been hesitant to try it and the price is more than ol' #2. i may have to stop by there and give it a try as i drive by it everyday to work.
Just read in an Oregon paper that by August of 2007, all Portlandarea stations are going to be selling b5 bio... not sure how thats going to work out but it should be interesting to see if they can pull it off. that would mean that all of the diesel retailers would have to switch...
Drew right now MN is B2, I've heard talk of making it B5. With the DFL (Dem) taking over the state goverment who knows what will happen up there other then yesterday after taking office they said they want to raise taxes on several things including gas & diesel, cigaretts.
Your not going to find anything higher than B20 at gas stations. The govt. doesnt allow it to be sold because of the higher NOx emmisions. You can manufacture B100 and burn it yourself. You and a bunch of buddies can get together and make it and there is nothing that they can do about it. There is a place here in houston that will sell you B20. and they will also sell you B99. I am not sure how they are getting around the B20 law but they are. When ever I am near them I stop and fill up on B99. It really smells like McDonalds and I am preventing global warming in the process
