Default EGT probe install...

I'm about to go drill a 2nd hole for my 2nd egt probe and will be looking to do it in the left side of the collector, from my understanding there is a divider down the center of the collector... can anyone confirm that...???

I've been told there is one. Question why not install it as close to # 6 as you can get it as IIRC it is the hottest cly in the engine.

if it's on the #6 runner, it wont tell me what #5 is doing... if the #5 or 6 injector became clogged i'd catch it. not sure what happens to the #4 as it's after the 1st probe...

the 2nd probe is for the phantom II gauge, the 1st one is for the tst & it's turbo timer function...

I thought that might be what you were doing. FYI.... I have my analog gauge and my TST wired together.
They both work just fine and maybe you can do the same without having to tap another hole.

I already had my analog installed. At the end of the probe where the screws are to make the joint is where I tapped the TST into. No cutting and no splicing. Just took the screws apart and added TST.

The analog shows the same temps it always has and the TST is right there with it.
