I don't know about ya'll but dodge trans. are suck. I've had 2 and have had trouble with both, the newest problem in my 02 2500is it stopped shifting properly i would'nt mind so much if the truck had 100k miles or more, but 70k just don't work for me.Sometimes it will shift and sometimes it won't . You can manually shift it and it might shift out and may not.Really sick of these problems . But if anybody has any ideas let me know ,1 mechanic said it was the solenoids in the trans. 1 said it was the speed sensor on the rearend. I'm lost can anybody give me any insight. THANKS

First, welcome to DF!

Second, has the tranny been serviced before? Valve body may just be gummed up, if not.

Does your speedometer work? If it does, then the guy that told you it was the speed sensor is full of crap.

Are you getting any codes at all? Swing into Autozone, Advance, etc and see it it's putting any codes on the PCM.
