i really wish i could post this under someone else name...im ashamed to ask it. but im curious. the turbo sucks air from the air box....which side of the air filter should face up? the side with the metal reinforcement? or the side with the paper "fins"???? im really not dumb im just having a dumb moment :/

 

The pleats go down. When you open the cover, you would see the metal grate side.

Dont feel bad , my buddy filled his powerstroke up with premium unleaded and didnt figure it out til it was to late........ 1 to many at the party

Better to ask that question then to do it wrong and come here complaining about how crappy your truck is after is sucked a bunch of dirt in . I bet you helped someone elsewho was afraid to ask it too.
