my 06 has facotry 265 70 R17 michelins on it. it is a 2x4. they are awfull on the mud or wet grass and being that i live in s. louisiana i need grips. what is the biggest i can go on it? i been looking at some maxxis buckshots 305 70 17. Is that too big?

 

GreyGhost, Im not sure the biggest size tire, but I can tell you that its not the size of the tire that is causing the problem with mud and wet grass. Its the $h!tY Michelins they put on that truck, they dont clean themselves.I had the same problems and they wouldnt clean mud out until I was going at least 15-20mph. Try a more aggressive tread pattern, it should help. That way you dont waste extra $$$ on the bigger tires, unless you got the cash and like the looks of a taller/wider tire. Just my .02 cents
