I have no problem on most job sites as I have to drive a ways at slow speed to get to to lot I'm working on at the time, so it has plenty of time to cool down.
And if I come in through the back of my neighborhood depending on where I'm working for the day, give me plenty of timeat slow speed to cool down before I hit the house.
Just my first Diesel and I know they take a little more service but itpays off in the long run, so I'm just trying to figure what I need and don't need.
I hear ya, the timer is nice for those occasions when you cant really let it cool down, I know Ive vested too much money not to take every precaution to help her go as long as possible, with any luck this will be the last truck I ever buy so making it last is deffinately in my best interest [8D]
Not our fault we don't have any speed limits over 55MPH.
I have nothing agains Hilo...my little woman and Ivisited the island on our honeymoon 2 years ago and happed to be there during one of your massive downpours. went and visited the falls (I forget the name) and one of the locals there and i were talking about the waterflow... he mentioned it was the most he'd ever seen. There was so much water coming down that the streets coming off the hills had2~3" of water coming down them, the botanical gardens were shut down and basiclly all we could do isgo to the tide pools & check out the falls... lucky for us it was only 1 daylike that.We had a blast when we were there... Kona has a bar/grill on their main drag that served up THE BEST burger I've ever eaten. One of our highlights was renting a kayak and heading out to Cooks Monument for snorkling... on the way back we took the coastal route and were treated to dolfins swimming by within about 50' of us. way cool!
