So I came across an extra $400 this past week, gotta love it when you finally clean out the shop and sell some ol' junk you've had. I'm looking at buying the Bully Dog Power Pup for my Cummins. What little I've heard from my buddies who have it is that its awesome. Just wanted to get some opinions from other BD users on here.

Just let me know how you like.....hows the power? Mileage increase? Truely lower EGTs?

I've herd nothing but good things from them, i do not have one at the monent but i plan on getting a tripledog with the monitor in the future, the 4 settings and download on the go function appeals to me. However if u have a warranty or anything like that u want to keep from the factor, the one downside i have herd is the tripledog is just that, a DOWNLOADER, so the flash will remain on the computer. I have herd from some sources that if u set it back to stock they can't trace it, but something to be aware of.

 

I love mine. I havent't had any problems from it. All you do is pretty much, download it, set it where u want it, and forget it. I keep mine in it's case under the back seat just in case I wanna change something while I'm on the road. I ordered the outloook monitor, but it didn't work right, so I sent it back,, I wasn't really inpressed with the thing anyway. As far as the progammer goes,, I think it's awesome. I got the Bully Dog Tripple Dog, not the power pup. I think I paid a little over 500 for mine, if I remember correctly.

 

I got the BDTD its great I downloaded the low end torque feature and i gas mileage also goes up with it. i paid $460 for mine. Also the tech support is very good.

 

BullyDog triple here with the CrazyLarry tune. One word - Incredible. Drive it like normal staying out of the throttle and its like its stock. Step into the gas pedal and you are planted very nicely in your seat, that is if you can find traction. Put it in 4 wheel drive and nail the gas off a light and you will hang with Mustangs. With almost no miles on mine I ran a 14.41@95 with the Megacab ....
