I was told by a Dodge SM back in June of 06 that Dodge was working on a way to tell of anyone added a chip to program to their truck and that it was only a mater of time before they got the computer code ready. Was also informed that they have been working on a way to detect if any thing was changed on the older trucks computer, even a box that sits in beteween the computer and the computer controled parts. This is one reason I will not touch mine until it hits the 7 year or 100K when the warranty is finished. I don't have the $$ to play and pay, that I don't like to try and stick it to them for my playing.
