2 stroke will give lots of lubrication... lubrication that was lost with the ULSD. Better would be a matter of individual experience & opinion. I gave it a shot to get the smooth running motor back lost when ULSD was the only fuel I could get. My 30 mile experience with it...I like it...andit's worth it for me to continue experimenting with it to find the right level of mix.

I used to put stanadyne with mmo in my tank. this weekend i filled up and used stanadyne and 2 stroke oil in my tank. I go ice fishing about 120 miles away every weekend. I was getting 17-18 mpg and this weekend i was constantly getting 20-21 mpg. lots quieter now. i can hear my turbo whistle now. Anyways much happier with 2 cycle than mmo

Steve,

The qt of 2 cycle oil is the only thing Ive tried that made my mpgs go down. BTW, I even used my normal amout of PS/MMO along with the 2 stroke oil as I only wanted to make one change at a time to get a good ideal of what it would do. I will say it did make it run as quite as they day I bought with LSD in the fuel tank.

Also being we've been on winter fuel for the past 2.75 months I don't think that is why I am getting another loss in mpg's. Being I bought a gallon of it (after I flush this batch out of my tank in a few weeks) I will then try to see if only using16 oz will afftect my mileage.
