yup. . .next tank I'm gunna try 4ozmmo and 4oz 2stroke. right now I'm doing a TST 8/5 mileage test just for the h3ll of it. . .also this is the setting where I start to get AWSOME smoke on demand. I did have it on 8/8 but the timeing rattle got a bit annoying.

I went with 16oz PSD AND 16oz MMO and got 18.18 on my last tank. City and Hwy. 2004 CTD 6spd quad 4:10 gear, stock except for silencer ring. And I did kick it around a little

those that are trying and liking the 2 stroke oil what kind are you using. I put 16 oz into about 5/8 of a tank and haven't seen any difference yet and I've put on 200 miles since then. I used havoline oil.

im using the valvoline multipurpose. make sure whatever your using is tc-w3 rated as it burns ashless and doesnt leave any deposits. there is a thread on another forum that hasan approved list of two stroke oils to use. ill try to find it

I do not even have 1K on my 06.
Can I try this now......or wait awhile.
This is all new to me coming from the Ford PSD world.
If I am reading right .....16onces of 2 stroke ashless oil per tank should do the trick....right.

scotty, you can go straight 2 stroke, or you can use 16oz of power service and 8oz of 2 stroke. . .

the origional formula was 16oz power service and 8oz of MMO. this was origionaly for the 98.5-02 trucks with the VP44 injector pump to ensure it got anough lube, even though the CP3 pump doesnt need it and doesnt die when the lift pump fails, things still run better with the mix, and you get slightly better mileage.

my last tank has 16oz power service, 4oz MMO and 4oz 2 stroke just to see how it likes it. so far it's about the same.
