485. . .BWAHAHAHAH. . .that funny
at the most he's pushing 360 at the rear with the mods he has. and the over head may be saying 27mpg, but put the calculator to it and I bet it is MUCH less.
now, burning the front tires, he11, I did it when my buddy got his mustang GT and thought it was fast. he gave up REAL quick when I lit the front tires off the line. the hemi burning up the front tires off the line. . .I doubt it, it doesnt have enough a$$ down low unless he was stoopid enough to put it into 4lo and race the truck.

DANGIT. . .thanks for reminding me
485, yeah right, I doubt he even has 360 @ the rear wheels... he probably stacked all of the marketing HP #'s together to arrive @ 485. stock is what 345? 345*.83% (drive train loss) would put him @ 286, add maybe 30 for all of his mods would put him up @ around 316ish... with his exhaust open like that i'm sure he's lost some low end in the process...
4hi and 3rd, 2000 rpm and 10 pounds of boost will do it. I havent tried it lately since putting the TST on for fear of melting the clutch. 3/2 and a good 3rd gear launch and the clutch aint catching up[:@]
Ive been talking to Jason(diesel nut) about hopping on his shock deal and getting a leveling kit, I just have to keep the other half happy and keep enough funds in the bank
if I do get a new clutch it will be a SBC. I have my TST set on 4/3 and I'm being easy on her, but stab the throttle in 3-4-5-6 and she's havin a hard time hangin on, 5/3 and it's all over in any gear. . .7/7in any gear andanything over 1200rpm is just nyutz

how should i go about trying this in an auto? or is there too much risk in having the tranny in many little pieces? i just wanna try it once to say ive done it and my truck can do it
