Default Jump starting our trucks

What battery are you supposed to use to jump off our trucks. Also, which battery are you supposed to use when jumping another vehical. Or does it madder?

I was told it don't matter, it only starts on 24V and runs on 12 volts. I'm sure somebody else will let us know for sure.

It doesn't start with 24 volts, it's all 12 volts.

The batteries are hooked parrallel, this give you 12 volts but almost 1400 amps. If it was in series, it would give you 24 volts, but only 700 amps. It's setup this way because of the current draw from the intake heaters.

Peek at this:



If you push 24 volts, you'll be buying a new truck; or at least everything electrical.

But, as to jumping, you can use either. Both batteries are grounded and both get the same amount of current draw.

I have that paint program, but I suck at it. I have no clue how to make cool drawings like that.
