Default Fire Wall.

I have an 2006 2500.dose anybody know if theres a piece of plstic above the stering box. is this a fire wall cover?. i ant to run some lights up front and need a spot to run the wires threw the fire wall. if anybody can give me some advice that would be sweet. I rather not f**k anything up nor get shocked.

best way to do it is to look where the clutch pedal should be on the inside. you will see some gromets there. or you can run the lines through the same hole the hood latch release line goes.

there is also an access panel on the firewall held in by 2 bolts... pull this out and drill it out to size...

When I installed the gauges and cb inmy 05, I used the oval plug that would have been where the clutch came thru.
Drilled a hole in it, ran wires, then siliconed the hole back up.

I ran my Banks plug and play harness through the grommet where a clutch should have gone... just cut a slit big enough for the wires and siliconed it back up. The grommet removal is SIMPLE and replacement is just as esay.
