on my way home from work this am around 2000 rpms i got a weird howl. i thought maybe my intake filter fell off or was loose or something. but i checked it all and it was all tight and together. it was only right around 2000 rpm's. it also wouldnt do it in park just revving it. only while driving. any ideas?

 

Sounds like the turbo!! Do you still have the stock air box?? Since I took the silencer ring off of my 04 Ive been getting some howling around 2200rpms.

 

i took out my silencer ring and i installed the s&b intake. ive had the silencer ring out since i got the truck about 2.5 months ago and never had a howl...just louder turbo. and i just put the s&b on about a week and a half ago and same thing, no howl, just louder/quicker turbo spool up. and then this am i got the howl. im going to take the truck out now...ill see if it is still there.
