Default Emissions....

Anything I should know before I take her into get Emissions done? Should I keep my chip off or on a certain setting? Run something special in the tank, take it in cold or warm? I can't beleive I have actually had my truck a year now!

But its becoming a money pit and I feel the sides slipping away even more.[:@](as you can tell from my last post- I'm not happy yet!)

Proooooobably gonna wanna set the box to stock. Any extra fuel is gonna hurt you.

If you have a place nearby that sells bio, run some of that, it'll help lower the emissions.

Dumb questions arriving......!
I have never ran bio in my truck before. Can I add it just like I was topping off my tank- basically can I mix it with the reg diesel? and can I keep my additives in there as well. Tried the PS this tank and a little bit of lube also. Not so good gas mileage. Hope its just the winter air...... Changed my fuel filter and gave me a little boost in mileage but nothing to about.

Just mix it right in, no big deal. You won't get the full effect like it was a true tank of it, but it should help a bit.

As long as everything is running okay and no CEL's are showing, you shouldn't have a problem.

Turn the box off and bring 'er in.

As for the additives, not really sure. I don't think PS would have any negative effects on the testing, but MMO or 2 stroke oil might. Can't say for certain.

Well if anything bad happens- it will happen to me! I'll let ya know and thanks a bunch!

P.S. Off-topic:I had a thought- we need dodgeforum.com decal stickers for our pick-em' up trucks mailed out to us all! That would help get the name out as well.
Sorry came from the other part of the working brain! Had to say it before I forgot.
