Default 06 3500 SRW vs 2500 Differences

Is there any difference between the 2006 CTD 3500 SRW verses the 2500 besides the rear helper springs ?

THanks

I went to buy a 2500 and found the price the same as the 3500. Might as well get the extra spring ;-)

I was surprised to find that was the only difference in the SRW and DRW besides the extra tire. I was told at the dealer that a DRW can carry 1000lbs more than a SRW ( helper spring ) and the difference stops there.

The only difference between the 2500 and 3500 SRW's is the oveload springs in the back and a stiffer spring up front. That's it.

In South Carolina, the property tax is 40% lower on a 2500!!! If its this way in your state, you can save alot of cash by installing the helper springs on the 2500. I found out the hard way. My buddy pays almost half the tax I do. The same truck exactly except mine is a 3500. Its pretty easy MATH!!!
