If you really want to get some interesting crap, swing into Ft Benning's DRMO when they do the sales and auctions.

I picked up a BRAND NEW (still had the stickers) set of HMMWV tires for $200. $50 a pop for 37 / 12.50 / 16.5 Wrangler MT's.

 

the only downside is those 16.5 rims wont fit on our rams. . .unless you plan on throwing them onto the samuri

 

Yeah, I didn't buy them for this. I bought them for the '04 SD. That still had the 16's, so they were no problem.

Only problem was they still didn't fit, even on the 6" lift.

I ended up selling them, for MUCH more ($700) and getting a set of 36" Swamper TSL's.

I wouldn't even think of putting them on the Sami. Hell, I'd put in gear and it would snap an axle shaft. I won't go bigger than 32's on that.

 

Couldnt remember what the mix was so I used 16 oz PSD and 16 oz 2 Stroke and man did it quiet the truck down!!! workin better than the MMO.

 

I have been using it at 3 gallons per ounce but lat tank changed to 4 gallons per ounce. I think it is gettin better mileage. also us psd at 3 gallons per ounce.
