Default cardboard in front of the radiatior

i know its already been posted but i cant find it....does anyone have it? if not...is it a safe thing to do? does it really help in warming the truck up faster in the cold temps? simple explination on how to do it?

I have a large pizza box, unfolded of course, in front of my radiator only. It slides right down inbetween on my 95'. Can't fall out either. Never gets wet, and it's against a huge heat exchanger anyway...lol.

All you have to do is remember it's there in warmer weather. If you forget, the truck runs a little warmer.

just make sure you dont put it infront of the intercooler. . .that would be a bad thing since the air being drawn into the engine actualy helps cool things.

so it may be a smart/safe thing to do? as long as i keep an eye on the temp guage.....dont put it infront of the intercooler...and take it out when its warmer
