Default Cabin Filter

Hey guys I looked on the forum-search but couldn't find anything. Where can I go about ordering a new cabin filter for a 2004.5 Cummins-Ram? I think my father has checked around with some stores and nobody has them in stock. Plus I couldn't really find anything on Google. Much help would be appreciated!

Thank you very much for the prompt reply. This seems to be exactly what I'm looking for. What is the difference though between the kit and the replacement filter itself? It says the filter alone is $15 or so. And my last Q would be how to change this thing? Does it state the process in the manual? On my VW it is on the passenger side under some plastic you unscrew.

I believe what hmh is referring to is an aftermarket cabin filter kit. My 2002 Honda Accord has a replaceable cabin filter like you have in your VW, but as best I can tell the Ram does not have a built-in cabin filter. I checked both my manual and the factory service manual and can find no mention of a cabin filter.

The kit has the frame you mount and the 15 dollor filters are the replacement filter you put in the frame.

So if you have a filter installedallready you just need the replacement .

I haven't ordered it yet but it is on my short list as I'm on dusty roads behind dump trucks at times, so I can't tell you how it mounted

Yeah my dad spends a lot of time driving on an island (galveston) so i'm sure his truck breathes in a fair amount of sand. That, and he smokes in his truck all day, so a new filter should help with both problems.
