Default Who's runnin 2-stroke oil in cold temps?

Just curious if anybody was doing the 2-stroke mix in the cold right now and if there was
any adverse affects. I haven't tried it yet cause I really didn't want to hurt any thing.
The temps around here have been high's in the teen's during the day and negative at night.
I was thinkin if i did it I would run a little less than what has been suggested .
Waht do yall think.

I was running it until the 30th when my truck got totalled. We have had temps down to -35 here and no adverse effects. One thing that I must say about running the 2 stroke..... Man that engine gets QUIET!!!!!!!!
Run the recomended ammounts, you wont be sorry.

I'm running it and so far I'm loving it.

100% smoother than before.

I'm using 16 oz PS / 16 oz of 2-stroke

the ratio i found best is 1oz 2stroke for every gallon of diesel. been running it all winter and weve had a solid month of below 0 temps at night, no problems

Right now I'm trying out 10-12 oz PS and 16 oz of 2 cycle oil. So far it sure makes the injectors run real quite even at -18 below zero

I was running 16oz PSD and 16oz 2 stroke... seemed to be a good ratio, and kept the engine quiet

I always have 4 quarts for 40 gallons of fuel in the tanks. I have put 2 cycle in my fuel for about 3.5 years now. I always get fuel at 3/4 or half tank. half a tank I add 2 quarts, 1/4 tank I add just one. I am a proponent of 2 cycle in the fuel, and MMO in the oil.

Good luck with ALL our rides.

2-Stroke made my engine noiser, I had to add MMO to quiten it back down.

I couldn't belive how loud the engine was, I usely just hear the whine of the turbo, this morning it was sounding closer to a power joke, can't have that.
