Windshield washer injection for increased horsepower? A guy at work says his buddy does this to his truck for weekend truck pulls. It is supposed to give big HP and no harm to the motor.
Ido not know how it is injected or forced into the motor. Anyone heard of this or how to do it?

 

lol...i used to do it to my taco when it would heat up. i didnt have money back in the day to fix it so thats wat i did. didnt feel any hp increase..but did cool it down quick.

Sorry welder never heard anything like that but just for clarification. You are saying spraying windshield washer fluid into the engine to increase hp?????. I've nver heard of it but you never know?? who thought of nitrous know what i mean.

 

I had never heard of it either, that is why I am asking. Sounds really strange

lol.... if u could cool the air( intercooler) by spraying water than yeah u mite increase power. iv seen it used alot on imports...some see an increase of 5hp but not much..but every bit helps. to get better results its wise to spray on the intercooler.
i did it to keep my engine from over heating.

The moistier will build your compression but I have no idea why he's using washer fluid.
