well, we (dog & I went up into the sierra's today to shoot some pics... found some mud along the road. the pics dont show really how much is on the truck but the sides are covered well... this is at about 4000' level... no snow on the ground but it was cold. It did snow breifly on the way out...

good thing there wasn't any snow.... without the mud on there you might not have found your truck !

I want to see the pics of you fording the creek ? Gotta love the wilderness !

I got to get some fender flares, mine has gotten more mud onon the truckfrom a paved road, all the dump run down losing dirt.

Ineeded from one side of the sub-division to the other and it's so big it was quicker to hit the main road and drive around, it was a light rain and three minutes later my white truck was brown all over

We dont have too many river or creekcrossings available to us... not sure why, theres a quite a few flowing out of the upper sierras...

even with the flares, the sides are toast... we just had a shower pass thru... if there's much to show tomorrow, I'll take a better pic so you can see what I mean

which creek is that in your photos? I was checking out the flow looks to be about 2-3 foot level.

Steve, do you have just a leveling kit on your truck or is it lifted too?

I dont know the name of it but it dumps into the American River. There is no place to go so crossing it is pointless.

I wouldnt call it dirty, it isnt much but the point was to show how much gets past the flares...

It is leveled, not lifted... 2" spacers up front.
