P!$$ poor fuel economy
When we first went to Winter fuel and the Oct, Nov & Dec temps did not get below 10 above zero I was getting about 17.49 mpg combo driving. Now that it has gotten in the -10 to -20 below zero range I dropped to around 14 mpg. So you can see the colder it gets the worse your mpg can be[:@] BTW, I have a winter front on my truck to help it warm up faster.
I got 1027 kilometers an my last full tank.75% Hwy / 25% City.. Secret , take it easy!.
its a 4 wheel 1 ton. BTW 360 is what my hemi gets never go over 500k , so that cant be right for CTD ,

I have an 04 3500 SRW automatic with 410 rearend. Haven't checked manually lately but on board computer says 18.4 MPG for combined mileage. The last time I checked manually the MPG was close to what the computer was reading.

Do you think the quicker warm ups help with your fuel economy?
Where did you get your grille cover?

] I hope I spelled and named it correctly) and not the grill its self like the older ones do. Yes I do believe it helps your MPG when you get the engine warm faster. A cold engine does not burn the fuel as well as a warm one.
I know my mileage started off at about 12.4 when the truck was a virgin. Now with 8,000 miles I can get 18.4, running empty if I keep the RPMs below 1950 on the highway. I have a feeling I will be able to get up to 19-20 once the motor fully breaks in. I should note I did get a reflash (to fix the battery temp sense problem) at 5K miles.
