Yeah,, I noticed the same thing. I ended up putting the car seat in the middle, that way we have room to put the seats up front the way we want them. I still have room for passengers,, though you have two car seats. I also put a bed cover on, that way when we go somewhere the stuff gets put in the bed. With the seat in the middle and the truck being 4x4, it's a stretch to put my daughter in,, good thing I'm a pretty stout guy

Car seats quickly turn into booster seats. The boosters fit much better. My two kids ride in the back of mine with a 90lb lab between them. Their kids they'll get over it. The Ford crew cab does have more room than my quad, but the 6.0 is anightmare.The Mega was not available with an 8 foot bed, so I went quad.

Speaking of booster seats,, lol . At only 8mts old, my little girls feet hang off the end of her car seat. Shes gonna be taaaaaall,, her mommy is taller than me, of course I'm only 5'9". At our wedding her mom wanted her to mess with me and wear high hills [:@], she wore sandals and was still 2" taller than me.

I just traded in my 2001 Chevy Extended cab for the Mega Cab. My wife is due with our second son in 2 weeks. It was fine with one seat in the middle but try putting one on each side behind the seats. I liked my Chevy but they could not compete with the room in the Dodge Mega Cab. On top of the Mega I supper sized to the diesel.

me, one wife, an 8 yearold the size of an 11 yearold (future volleyball player), a baby born in october a bernese mountain dog and a mutt the size of a red fox, All in an '06 megacab comfortably
