05 and earlier you can look in the glove box and it will tell you on the build sheet.

06 and on you have to tell by engine RPM on the auto, the manuals only come with 3.73's.

Drew, I have a 07 3500 6.7 chasis cab.6 speed manuel trans. This truck is geared way lower than 373's. Im loaded down with a welding bed, tools and welding machine. I can still take off in 3rd gear. 1st and 2nd gear are way too low. On the interstate at 65mph Im about 2100 RPM in 6th gear.

nope. . .3.73's. . .the G56 has a .79 final drive which gives you the high RPM's.

my NV5600 with a .73 may be geared better, however with 4.10's I'm doing 60mph at 2000rpm.

There are 4.10's available with a manual for the Chassis Cabs. I just got on there and did a build.

there are 4.10's available. . however his RPM's are equal to mine, it is the transmission difference and the higher final drive. I'd hate to see what 4.10's behind a G56 would do. . .I would have to have a splitter on that thing just to hit 60mph[:@]
