Default Boost Question

I've read several other posts and still have some questions. My truck is slightly modified. Under moderate acceleration with theAttitude in stock mode, the boost quickly hits 35-36 psi and pretty much stays there until the TC locks up then boost starts building again and the Attitude starts alarming and I let out of it. With the Attitude in 1 Mileage Mode, I can quickly hit 40+ PSI. Is this normal? From other posts it seems like I am getting high boost pressures even in stock mode. Why on earth would I want a boost fooler? What would be gained by the extra boost? What would an aftermarket turbo do for me? What can I do to the wastegate to help it keep pressure @ 36psi? Wouldn't that be the thing to do?

Default RE: Boost Question

Mine hits the same. Stock, I could hit 40 psi if I was on it hard.

I have my Attitude limited to 40; it'll touch that easy if I'm on it.
