Default debadging

This topic probably came up before, but what is the best way to debadge your letters and emblems off your truck? I don't want to screw up the paint. Thanks

I heard this works. let the truck set in the sun ona good hot day for a while. then use a piece of fishing line and drag it underneath the badges.

just use a blow gun or hair dryer warm up the badge get underneath and pull it up. use the heat to get any remaining tape off the use 3m part # 8984 adhesive cleaner to clean off any residue. done it quite a few times. once u get the emblems nice and warm they pull off pretty easy.

fishing line to saw them off and a3m eraserwheel, I was done the whole truck in less than 45 min. closer to 30 min.
The first time it did it on my Hemi I had. it took me 3 hours plus. I did it with a heat gun. plastic old credit card and all kinds of stuff to get the glue off. Never again will I do it that way.

this is what you need http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/p-11...eel-07499.aspx

A hair dryer works great, just make sure it's really warm before you start pulling. Just don't be like one of those fakes who takes their SLT badge off to put Laramie badge on
