Default Max Weight

So whats the max weight I can expect to hold in the bed? I know its a 3/4 ton but I've put a ton in the back and it didnt even move. I used to haul my feed around in a 3/4 ton ford long bed and never had a problem with 2 ton in the bed but I dont want to just drop that in the back of my truck and over load it. What do u all think?

Start loading it and watch it the first time and stop if something looks bad.
I grossed 18,600lbs one time on a 3/4 ton 4x4 for a short 4mile run. I don't recomend doing that though I didn't break anything but it was scary. It was lifted with 1100x20 miltary nd's for tires and it sat down on the rubber stops on both ends so it was sitting level and didn't look to bad.

IIRC on my 06 its around 2100 lbs in the bed of the truck. I know many who have put more in it but that is what Dodge said it can hold safely.

Check what is posted on the side of your tires. The truck will more than likely handle alot more than the tires.

just make sure that you have the proper PLY of tires (10 ply) and that your air pressure is at max for heavy loads. youll be runnin on rims if ya dont watch it.
