Anybody know if my 03 truck with the 235hp CA smog motor can be reprogrammed to be a 305hp? I Just bought a Edge Juice/attitude set and wanted to maybe start with a better baseline.BTW- Much thanks for all the info! I did my first oil/filter+ fuel filter change this last weekend and saved me much$$.

 

I know the bigger cumins you can, but you have to buy a code from cummins to get into the ecm to do it. I think they charge about $1200. not sure if its the same with dodge.

 

Your best bet, and probably the cheapest, would be to find a local Cummins service center. They will charge you to do it, but it won't be nearly what a dealer would charge. Go to the Cummins website, there is a section that they talk about items like that and basically they explain it as, Cummins sells horsepower and if you want more power out of their product then yes you pay for that power.
