have a friend at work that is interested in purchasing the the freedom fuel kit. to take cooking oil and turning it into fuel. has anyone seen this kit in use and has anyone used this fuel for their rigs?if so any pros or cons?

I have seen it and researched it as well. It is a great kit, but you can get everything you need to build it at lowes or home depot. I figured 4000 dollars can buy a lot of diesel, so I drifted away from it. Did you just happen to watch the show trucks that was on and he was making the fuel?
