Hey Y'all i have a 99 2500 4x2 and earlier today my gas gauge was on 3/4 of a tank and then when i left work it was at 3/8 and then i went to my buddy's shop it was at 1/4. This was all in less than 3 miles. i am a little disturbed by this and was wondering if anyone here might have any ideas.

 

your gunna have to drop the tank to get it out. . .I would say fill it up and see if that is the real reason. . .if it takes you 3/4 tank to fill up then you have a serious problem.

 

if it takes 3/4 of a tank my gas milage just went to crap

 

I can tell you right now you definitely have a serious problem if you're getting gas mileage

 

And a bigger problem if he has a gas gauge in a diesel tuck[]
