Yea, its pretty bad when my 4 kids want to listen to the radio and I tell them that I gotta listen to the turbo to make sure its working correctly. They must think in their little minds that Im having serious problems out of my turbo. Man , I do need help...............

 

This post makes me fill better because I'm not the only diesel freak. My wife tells me I'm crazy because when we're in the city I roll my window down just so I can listen to other diesel trucks. I can tell her it will be okay because I in a diesel support group.

Guilty of 90% plus. Also was in a building and heard a powerstroke start up. Going to CAT school this week and got caught drooling over a v12 cat roughly the size of my truck (little longer) and thinking, we could put 6 turbos on that and really get some big numbers.

 

A 3606 or 3412?

 

3512 I beleive Couldn't get close enough but If I remeber right, the 3412 has heui's and this didn't look like a heui engine. It sure makes me want to change from a truck tech to a marine tech though.
