That is the stock exhaust.
I have been told - rumor - that the poor owners are not even allowed to replace that tip with a chrome one or even use a chrome sleave over it - or they void the warranty. Let alone have a decent exhaust system installed.
What is being seen in the video is supposed to be the paticulate filter cleaning itself.
Just glad I own a 5.9 Cummins!!!!!!!!!

Im wondering this though. Suppose you are the lucky owner of one of these trucks,,,,,, your in a parking lot one day and it decides it wants to start a weiner roast and this thing burns someone or some little kid or something. Can you imagine the lawsuit you would have?

The 3rd degree hurt the most the next day, I found out with a rubber boot full of boiling water. Over on diesel stop those guys are going nuts over the video. I posted it in the 6.4 section to see if I could start a riot

thats a crock of ****, first off, any plastic nearby this thing is surly gonna be fried and as stated earlier the vehicles parked nearby the damn thing are at risk of catching fire and hell if its close enough to the gas tank could blow the thing up, now being one of the big three dont you think that ford would atleast try to make a halfway decent diesel that doesnt burn innocent bystanders w/ the exhaust torch....
