So on my 12v im only getting around 25psi max that's running it hard getting on the interstate it gets to 25 just before I defuel in 5th gear i had a manual boost controlor but decided I would remove it and just cap off the waste gate and that's all I can get is this normal for a stock pickup

Diesels aren't like gas motors. You want more boost, you need to throw more fuel at it.

What have you done with your governor springs? What have you done with your fuel plate? You should be able to hit 35+, although I'd hook the wastegate back up to make sure it opens.
