Extra 75HP @ Flywheel
This might sound like an advertisement but what can I say. I want to thank the guys at DC Performance, especially Tony. Their little flashed PCM gave me an extra 75HP at the flywheel. After installing the new computer I had an opportunity to get my truck on a dyno. What I saw after two runs was an average of 460.31 HP at the rear wheels giving me roughly 575.31 HP at the flywheel. Best money I ever spent! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I'm guessing after new exhuast and after market air filter I'll be well over 600HP.
Again, thanks to all the guys at DCPerformance as well as a thank you to those of you on this forum who referred me to DCP.

I assume you have a QC. CPMs for QCs always yeild good numbers. They are a little detuned from the factory to help the truck not tear up the auto tranny under heave accelleration and towing.
Seems like all the PCM's are de-tuned a bit due to the gains with updated/flashed PCM's, but my QC made 415 RWHP on a dyno totally stock and less than 2,000 miles. Not too shabby! I wish I had the extra $$$ to play with aftermarket stuff...maybe someday!
That's pretty good! Do the math and you've got about 518 HP at the flywheel.

I wish I had. The funny thing is though. I had a 99 mustang GT that I had chiped a few years ago. I couldn't really tell much of a difference. But when I switched out the pcm in the truck I had to immediatley change my driving habits to keep from burning out all the time. That was a nice change!!!
