WellSyntheticsMan Lou Grubb Dodge already has one of eight as of Weds, they are so Bad A$$.

You know how they were saying how the airdam is functional, they got a plastic tub in the bumper and has to spouts that shoots the air out at the front brakes. The dual exhaust is 2 pipes all the way from the block to the bumper, one muffler though. The grill hasa plastic piece on each side to route the air directly to the radiator and so on. The truck is so comfortable to sit in too. The subwoofer sits right in the middle of the back storage tray. I sure would like to of herd her growl though. I just wanted to push that RED push start button. It had 12 miles on it already. hmmmm, lot boys are joy riding , I wish I was a lot boy. They had a $10,000 markup on it making it around $56,000

Sitting right next to it was a silver Viper convertible with a $15,000 markup for a even $100,000. When I sat in it I felt cramp, and lets say I'm not even tall, 5' 4", not tall at all. But hey I guess speed makes up for all the rest .

Dodge has the Ram SRT-10 priced at $45,850 w/ destination included. It is an awesome truck, sat in one at NAIAS. I am however, bummed out about this truck in a few ways. First off, the Mack/Conner Ave. Plant (Viper/Prowler plant put in a bid to assemble the truck there, but lost the bid to the Mexico plant! Motors are still handbuilt right next to the Viper assembly line. Matter of fact last summer, when I was there... Tony (a guy I know on the line showed me the engine for the Ram SRT-10, every piece was lying seperate on this table where the Prowler asembly line was). Bums me out, they would send it to Mexico... most of the old Prowler employees were sent back to other factories because of the lack of work at the plant... those people were specially picked to work at Mack/Conner and it is the cleanest/nicest/friendly plant I have ever seen... so clean you could eat of the floor... now they are back to the old plants, while the Mexicans are building the Ram SRT-10.

Another problem I have w/ the Ram SRT-10 is the tow rating. DaimlerChrysler tells you not to tow w/ it, because it only has a 900lbs towing rating. No factory 7/70,000 warrenty either! What about the Viper owners who bought one for towing their Viper? They are screwed!

Well the SRT-10s are bad A$$. the 900lbs of towing is most likely because of the 22" wheels. on the trucks you lose 500lbs. if 4x4, another 500lbs if the dodge 20s are on. I don't know what kind of stress is on the engine when towing but if you take off those 22s and put 18s the truck, theframe is no different then the regular 1500, may tow no problem. We all know the truck has hp and torq.

Well there is a lot of reasons, but one main one is... how the truck is geared! It shares it's whole powertrain w/ the Viper... engine, tranny, and rearend... so this thing basicly is a over weight Viper w/ a limiter! lol.
