Default To Lower or Not

I have seen several o5 Qc lowered but which is the best kit? I would like to drop
the rear enough to be even with the front, just do not want to slam it.
Any suggestions? I also have two, still in the wrapper owner manual kits for the 2006
if any one needs them.

hi, have you had a chance to measure the height of the frontfender to the ground then measure the rear fender to the ground, maybe measure the fenders to the tires front and rear sometimes the measurement could be different, check bothto be sure.then that would give you a starting to go by;how much to lower and what type of drop shackle you need, maybe one or two inch drop.i agree you don't want to slam it, some trucks don't vibrate after lowering them but a lot do especially qc;two piece drive shafts.

Xmetal.com has a great lowering kit for the QC except you
have to relocate the rear diff on the springs and then use
the supplied shackles to fine tune it. Then you also need to check drive shaft pinion angle or the vibrations will shake you out of the truck.Would like to find a simplier solution. Anybody know of one for a QC ?
