i am looking to buy a 2004 srt10 ram, the ones that i am looking at are priced between 20,000- 27,000. is a reasoable price range? and what was the factory warrenty on these rigs, and what was the warrenty on the 05-06 models? what are some of the common problems with these. and if i buy one i will be wanting to swap the hood for a regular 1500 ram flat hood. so if you know any one that would want to swap please let me know. oh and i have also found 2 viper cars. in the 25,000-28,000 price range. they are both 1994 models. if you had the choice witch would you buy?

 

If you want a clean low mile SRT Ram you will be looking mid 20s. If you want something really fun I know of a couple SC'd trucks for sale, probably can be had for 30-32K.

Clutch is the weakest part of the drive train and if not replaced will need to be at some point.

3/36 Limited warranty. 1/12 on certain parts, clutch being one of them. So chances are, if you are buying 04 all warranty will be over.

If you buy a Silver truck and are not to far from me I will swap hoods with you from my Hemi.

Stay clear of all Vipers under 30K. Usually this means either

1. Salvage/rebuilt
2. Very high miles

A 94 can not be driven daily either. Will leak in the rain and you can not lock it.
