hi i just recently bought a 2006 Dodge Ram Srt10 RC and i have a governor set at 120mph, just curious how i would go about getting it off. Many people said SCT would possibly do it, but i wasn't looking to spend an arm and a leg. Also i know they weren't capped at 120 stock so someone must have put it on there is that like a PA law or something? If anyone knows anything i would appreciate it.

 

Yea, never heard of that before. That had to be added for some reason.

PCM flash or a tuner, either way will cost you about $500 plus, but you will get other benefits from it.

 

ouch ya, hmm i think its a pa thing possibly because when i first bought my camaro it had a limiter to 120 also, that came off quick... and was way cheaper than 500. oh well

 

Z28s that came without z rated tires from the factory were limited to 115-120. I know a few things about F-Bodies

 

very true, and mine didn't come with z-rated tires, it came with some cheapo coopers
