I'll never buy a Truckin magazine now. How in the world does a Ram SRT-10 lose to a Ford F-150? [&:] I think they're afraid to give the Ram a two year running spree....or either Ford biased.

can you believe that they are comparing the ford lightning and the SRT-10 together
the 2006 lightning is supose to have 500 horsepower

 

Dude, Ford needs to learn that NOTHING and i mean absolutely nothing compares to a Ram. Rams are the gods of all trucks.

 

As an SRT-10 owner, let me tell you that existing Lightnings are worthy opponents and have my utmost respect. Stock vs stock, they are quick enough that if I make a mistake they can take me. I've found that most of the Lightning owners are pretty decent people and in turn respect the Ram. That being said, there are a lot of ex-Lightning owners who have new SRT-10s parked in their driveways.

There is no 2006 Lightning. The new F-150 is too heavy to compete so SVT postponed (dropped) the program. Rousch offers a version of the new F-150 that runs 15s but that just ain't gonna get it done.

 

i have to agree with you...when i was at the drag strip the last time i was there...the lightning actually took the srt10 and they were both stock...but by the end of the night the srt10 and the lighting were trading off wins lol
