first off, thanks in advance for any help/info you can provide me. it was like night and day. i just was looking at SRT 10s on autotrader, and decided they are some badass looking trucks. dont get my wrong, i love my Silverado SS, but i may be in for a change, and the SRT 10 looks sweet.

anyways, i want a srt 10 REGULAR cab pretty badly. any estimates/insight into trading in my silverado ss with 20,000 miles on it for a either black or yellow srt 10. i am in central illinois. how much do you think i could get out of my SS. or better yet, as a done deal, how much do you think i would end up paying on top of my SS for a srt 10? i am looking for one with perhaps 10,000-40,000 miles + give or take.

also, how do you guys like driving those things?? pretty fun? whats an actual no bullsh#t 1/4 and 0-60 times for a stock and broken in srt 10. thanks alot again guys. i hope to be driving one sooner than later.

I saw a black one on ebay for 35,000 opening bid. NR It had 4000m on it. Prices are very reasonable for this truck now. As far as your Chevy goes, I have no idea what the book is on that.
You will not regret making the switch. It is the most fun I've ever had driving! Just last night I had a Duramax try to race me at every light. Traffic was too heavy though.

Real life 1/4 mile times for stock trucks seem to range between 13.1 to 13.8 depending on track conditions and driver ability. Of course, traction with these 22" stock tires is the big problem. There are some 18" wheels that clear our brakes and allows us to run Nitto drag radials. A few have tried them with good results but I haven't seen any times yet. Any kind of help with traction should put us in the solid 12s.

Keep in mind that drag racing is only one dimension of this truck's capabilities. You'll be amazed at how well it handles the twisties. The brakes are incredible. The ride comfort is surprisingly good. The stereo kicks butt. There are buckets of attitude. It's off the chart on the grin meter.
