Default SRT HOOD Questions

Hey all I recently had a run in with a deer and had the dealer install a SRT (OEM MOPAR) power buldge hood on my 07 ram. Question I have is there suppose to be anything to prevent the rain from getting into the hood area? I understand the whole reason for the hood is to be semi functional to let air into the engine compartment, but was wondering if there was a way to minimize water and let in the air at the same time? Or if the dealer forgot to install something. I know this is not a True SRT nor am I trying to pass it off for one. I just loved the hood so much I had to have one. I am also wondering if any of you have changed the grill insert with something a little more appealing? Or even made the hood a fully functional RAM AIR? Any pictures or leads would be apprieciated. Thanks Guys/Gals.

There wont be much water entering the hood. Even if there was, the hood is not connected to your intake, so there would be no problem when a little rain gets in there. Just more of your engine getting wet. Nothing to worry about, i have yet to have any problems do to rain, and my hood is setup to my intake.

To answer the question, no, there is no baffles, ect to prevent water from coming in. Unless you get the insert from a Daytona, which is completely closed.
