Default Dyno runs today with my Yellow Fever QC.

I`m fairly new to this forum.Today I went to the dyno to see what my baby makes.I have a K&N cai and a Magnaflow cat-back system. The truck has 2059 kms on it.The temperature is 41 degrees celcious.First pull with the temp. gauge just past 90.It made 409.9 hp and 403.7 tq.Second pull after a cool down of approx.5 minutes and the temp. gauge reading dead on 90.It made 427.1 hp and 423.7 tq.Third pull with a 15 min cool down and the temp gauge was just under 90.It made 435.5 hp and 455.3 tq.All pulls were done with the tow haul on.Needless to say I`m very impressed with these #`s.Just thought I`d share.Next mods will be headers and a stage 2 PCM.TXS Chris.

Not too sure yet. I`m trying to convince myself that Belangers are worth all that money.Or the other alternative is the Gibson`s shortys. Both are great pieces.

Good numbers, especially the last two pulls. You're right where you should be with those mods. The header choice is tough. Are the Bellangers $1K better? My friend just put on a set of Gibsons and he says he definitely feels more SOTP torque. He already had the MAgnaflow catback. I couldn't decide on headers so I went with an STS turbo instead. My friend may buy my K&N after the turbo's installed.

Have you been to srt10forum.com yet? Lots of good info from fellow SRT owners and vendors there.

I`m glad the #`s are where they should be. I`ve heard alot of horror stories about the QC`s being duds! I guess their just stories.I think I`m going with the Gibson`s then I can put 4 high flow cats on it as well.Quick question for everyone.I nstalling high flow cats reduce the engine temperature at all ? Are there noticable gains installing them? The ones that were recommened to me were Magnaflow cats for turbo charged vehicles cause they flow almost double the reg. high flow cats.Any truth to this? TXS Chris.

Hopefully the STS kit goes on next week. Waiting on the PCM to come in.

Actually, you should be able to eliminate two of the cats completely. I doubt that the high flow cats will affect engine temps much except to make exhaust flow more efficient. Nothing substantial. Others report quite noticable gains with the high flow cats. Here is a link to a good discussion on cats for the SRT: http://www.srt10forum.com/forums/sho...high+flow+cats
